Megan just wrapped another short film in Los Angeles.

Just after wrapping her first feature film, Megan acted in a 48 hour film festival, recorded and shot a music video, and then jumped right into rehearsals for a short film shot in Los Angeles. She is so grateful to already be working with so many talented young filmmakers out on the west coast!

After having just moved to Los Angeles earlier this year, Megan has already wrapped her first full-length film in Los Angeles. It was her dream shoot: being on the beach all day every day while filming. (photo by Reilly Cann)

Megan performed in her first Sofar Sounds show.

Megan was thrilled (and nervous!) to play her first professional gig as a solo artist with Sofar Sounds Chicago. She played originals and covers, accompanying herself on guitar, to a sold-out audience. She looks forward to more shows with Sofar Sounds in LA. (photo by Tess Graham)

Megan was in two short films while home in Chicago for a month.

In between NYC and LA, Megan reconnected with family and friends at home and was able to continue expanding her film community and honing her craft. She played supporting roles in Bridget Francis Harris’ “Places of Worship” and Cameron Lessard’s “Buddy.”

Megan had her first Off Broadway performance as a singer-songwriter.

Megan and her music partner, Leocciano Callao, performed a set of all original music to a sold out house at the Triad Theatre, where Lady Gaga made her professional debut and Alec Baldwin, Elizabeth Taylor, Nathan Lane, Kevin Hart, and many other famous artists have graced the stage.

UPDATE: Megan and Leo had such a successful show that they were invited to perform again to celebrate the birthday of Mike Geffner, founder and producer of the renowned Inspired Word Open Mic in NYC.

Megan shot a short film in LA, which premiered at an exhibition in Paris.

Megan visited LA to act in a one-person short film created and directed by her good friend, Aislyn Murray. “Rabbit Hole” is a short surreal loop film shot on 250D 16mm film. This experience solidified her decision to move to LA and join her talented friends on the West Coast.

Megan nearly sold out her first showcase as a singer in NYC.

In January, Megan sang at her first NYC open mic, Mike Geffner’s Inspired Word. In less than a month, she was offered a feature showcase at the venue. She and Leocciano Callao, who began playing together less than two months ago, performed covers and originals to a packed house.

Megan recently appeared on her first original cast album.

In the spring of 2020, Megan was cast in “Heartbreak County”, a new musical set to premier at the New York Theatre Festival. Because of the pandemic, the performance was cancelled, but the team has kept the project alive by hosting fundraisers, releasing songs virtually, and eventually recording the full album at Dubway Studios. It was recently released on Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, etc. Megan appears on “Run It Out”, “Most Days", and the ensemble songs.
